331. Planning a Trip

Alice: Hi Bob! I’ve been thinking about taking a trip. Do you have any destinations in mind?

Bob: Hi Alice! That sounds great. I’ve always wanted to visit New Zealand for its amazing landscapes and outdoor activities. How about you?

Alice: New Zealand sounds exciting! I was considering somewhere rich in history and culture, like Italy. Rome and Florence have always been on my list.

Bob: Italy would be fantastic too! How about we do both? We can start with Italy for the culture and history, then head to New Zealand for some adventure.

Alice: That’s a great idea! Let’s start researching flights and accommodations. Do you have any preferences for airlines or types of places to stay?

Bob: I usually look for the best deals on flights. For accommodations, I like a mix of hotels and cozy Airbnb stays. How about you?

Alice: I’m the same. I’ll check out some flight comparison websites, and we can compare the prices. We should also look for accommodations close to the main attractions.

Bob: Sounds good. We should also set a budget and start saving up. How much do you think we’ll need?

Alice: Let’s break it down. We’ll need money for flights, accommodations, food, activities, and some shopping. We could aim for around $3,000 each, just to be safe.

Bob: That’s a reasonable budget. We can save a bit every month. Maybe cut down on eating out and other non-essential expenses.

Alice: Agreed. Now, let’s create a travel itinerary. We can spend the first week in Italy, visiting Rome and Florence. Then, we fly to New Zealand for the next week.

Bob: Perfect! In Italy, we can visit the Colosseum, Vatican City, and the Uffizi Gallery. In New Zealand, we can go hiking, bungee jumping, and visit Hobbiton.

Alice: I’m so excited! Let’s start booking the flights and accommodations this weekend.

Bob: Me too! I’ll start checking the flight prices now. We’re going to have an amazing trip!

Alice: Can’t wait! Let’s catch up again tomorrow with our findings.

Bob: Sure thing, talk to you then!
