111. Historical Landmarks

Alex: Hi, Sarah! Have you ever visited any historical landmarks before?

Sarah: Hi, Alex! Yes, I've been to the Colosseum in Rome. It was amazing! Have you been there?

Alex: No, I haven't had the chance yet. What was it like?

Sarah: It was incredible! The Colosseum is so huge, and knowing that it's been standing there for almost 2,000 years just blows my mind.

Alex: Wow, that's impressive! Did you learn anything interesting about its history?

Sarah: Yeah, our tour guide told us all about the gladiator battles that used to take place there. It's fascinating to imagine what it was like back in ancient Rome.

Alex: I can imagine! Speaking of ancient wonders, have you ever seen the Pyramids of Egypt?

Sarah: No, but they're definitely on my bucket list! I've seen pictures, though, and they look absolutely breathtaking.

Alex: They really are! The sheer size and precision of the pyramids are just mind-boggling. It's incredible to think about how they were built without modern technology.

Sarah: Definitely! It's amazing how these historical landmarks still stand as a testament to human ingenuity and craftsmanship.

Alex: Absolutely! Hey, maybe we should plan a trip together sometime to see some more historical landmarks.

Sarah: That sounds like a fantastic idea! I'd love to explore more of the world's wonders with you, Alex.
