349. Polite Requests and Thanking

Emma: A customer at the coffee shop
James:
The barista

Emma enters the coffee shop and approaches the counter where James is working.

Emma: Hi, James! How are you today?

James: Hi, Emma! I'm good, thanks for asking. What can I get for you today?

Emma: I'll have a cappuccino, please.

James: Sure thing, would you like it for here or to go?

Emma: To go, please.

James: Alright, one cappuccino to go. Would you like any sugar or cinnamon on top?

Emma: Just a sprinkle of cinnamon, please.

James: Got it. And would you like any pastries with that?

Emma: No, thank you. Just the cappuccino is fine.

James: Alright, one cappuccino with cinnamon, to go. That'll be $3.50, please.

Emma: Here you go.

Emma hands over the money.

James: Thank you. Your cappuccino will be ready in just a moment.

Emma: Great, thank you so much, James.

James: You're welcome, Emma. Enjoy your drink!

Emma waits for her cappuccino, and James prepares it for her. Once it's ready, he hands it over with a smile.

James: Here you go, one cappuccino with cinnamon, just like you ordered.

Emma: Perfect, thank you again, James.

James: My pleasure, Emma. Have a wonderful day!

Emma: You too, James. Goodbye!
